One of the biggest reasons this card ranks highly is that you have a easily triggered card draw that costs you no mana, so a free sacrifice outlet like Phyrexian Altar does incredible work with your creatures: drawing and paying for spells with very little assistance
Katara, The Fearless Double The Allies Katara, the Fearless is a fantastic Ally card as it will cause all your Ally abilities to trigger an extra time
The Ring Goes South and Mirror of Galadriel - Legend decks are big right now, and these cards are excellent for that archetype
